Dzogchen Teaching
Dzogchen means Total Perfection and simply refers to our condition of primordial potentiality as it really is. “Dzogchen Teaching” is the way we enter into knowledge of Dzogchen in order to discover our real condition.
Transmission
The starting point of the practice of Dzogchen is the direct introduction received from a qualified teacher. A qualified teacher (‘guru’ in Sanskrit) has the knowledge of the real condition of the individual, and the capacity to transmit this knowledge.
Santi Maha Sangha
The Santi Maha Sangha Training is a study and practice course in nine levels that was started by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu in 1993. In the ancient Oddiyana language Santi Maha Sangha means Dzogchen Community. Its goal is to train good Dzogchen practitioners that are able to reach a real personal knowledge based on concrete experience.
Dance of Vajra
The Dance of the Vajra, taught for the first time by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu at the beginning of the nineties, is a meditation in movement based on the Song of the Vajra and other mantras found in the original tantras of Dzogchen. It is practiced on a mandala representing the correspondence between the inner dimension of the individual and the outer dimension of the world.
Yantra Yoga
Yantra Yoga or the Yoga of Movement is an ancient system of Tibetan yoga based on the text The Union of the Sun and the Moon, which was written down in the 8th century by the master Vairochana, but its oral transmission is even more ancient. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, one of the most important spiritual leaders in Tibetan Buddhism and founder of the international Dzogchen community, introduced Yantra Yoga to the West and has taught it since the early seventies.
